When is it an appropriate time to say, "hey, pay attention to me!"?

Why is it the more messed up I get, the more I say it doesn't matter?

Why doesn't anybody know I'm asking these questions?It's not like I haven't been plentifully obvious. I just can't take their blindness with kid gloves. I like to pretend I'm spiting them by not telling them what's going on. Too bad the truth is that they just really don't care.
